Sticker + Enamel Pin Photos! Potential delay, more updates to come!

Hi everyone! 

Long time, no update! Thank you so much for your patience -- I've had a very busy summer this year and worked 7 events throughout the US. Don't worry though, I've been doing everything required to make these pins happen! Now, I'm home and get to share all the goodies with you!

I received all the stickers and they came out perfect!:

 And here are the very shiny pins!:

There they are! More than half of the pins are absolutely perfect! The remaining pins with red/yellow dots mean they have an error (either in the coloring or UV printing), but I've already sent revisions in and they're working on it! Please note: these digital photos may not be 100% accurate to their real-life coloring due to camera and monitor limitations, as well as image compression.

This means we are a bit behind schedule, so I'm currently expecting to receive the pins next month.  

Even with the delay, I did plan ahead and gave myself a solid month to sort through all of them. If I need to crunch my own time to deliver your pins, I will do it! I'd love for everyone to receive their pins before the holidays. 

As we get closer to the delivery time I will be posting more updates: next month to let y'all know how production is going, when I receive the pins (plus an estimated time in which I'll start shipping them out so you can adjust your addresses if needed), and then again when they are officially being shipped!

And I think that's it for now! Thank you so much for reading and for your support! I've written some notes below if anyone is curious as to why I'm choosing to revise the designs. - Ki 

• Enoki: The caps aren't as bright as I'd like. I'm going to make the white of the caps UV printed so the white will create a more dynamic 3D effect to contrast them from the stems.
• Black trumpet: Some areas are missing fill. This is my mistake. I assumed the unfilled areas would be darker, but that only works with antique metal. They will be darkened so the inky parts of it are visible! The gradient will also be made more noticeable.
• Lobster: The contrast is a little harsh. It's not quite as noticeable in photos but is in real life. It will be toned down so the UV highlights aren't too imposing.
• King Trumpet: The caps are more grey than I'd like. They will be more tan in color like that of the portabella cap.
• Pink Oyster: The caps and UV printing are a bit off in color. Adjusting to make them more accurate to the original artwork.
• Maitake: Two of the caps are incorrect in color and will be adjusted.
• Button (large): UV color is barely noticeable. Adjusting to add a bit of contrast.
• Portabella: UV printing is completely inaccurate. Will be fixed.
• Lion's Mane: UV printing is missing 1 color. Fixing to make sure it's present.
• "No name" (Coprinopsis Pulchricaerulea): Some blue disappeared and some colors were misplaced. The UV file was readjusted to keep more blue and increase the brightness of the cap. Colors will be rearranged in accurate order.
• Shaggy Ink Cap: Areas where it is inky are missing fill. This is my mistake; Same reason as the Black Trumpet. It will be filled to increase contrast and the tops of the mushrooms will have an improved gradient effect. 
• Rosy Veincap (small): Missing fill. Will be fixed.
• Bleeding Tooth (large): UV printing is slightly off. It is being adjusted.
• Reishi: One of the stripes on each pin is dull. They will be made brighter and more saturated for a smoother gradient pattern.

Pin Updates:

As promised, I will be transparent when it comes to design adjustments that vary from my original artwork.

I have updated the 4 pairs of pins as you can see above. The original artwork is on top, the best possible version of the original artwork is in the middle row, and the finalized versions are on the bottom row! 

They all originally shared a common factor: they all use a very light pastel peach! But, because that color doesn't exist as a Pantone, they were going to end up either too grey, too yellow, or too pink.  I tried several colors with the original artwork to get them to match, but failed; Pantone colors are so limited. I thought 7406 C was warmer than it is but it is so GREY! I'd like to blame my visual problems, but I should have noticed this.

As a result, I reworked them to the best of my artistic ability. I'd like to think the finalized versions are nicer and more accurate to the original design, while also staying fairly accurate to their real-life mushroom counterparts! You're welcome to share your thoughts!

You can still adjust your survey before they lock. If they lock, which they will on July 22nd at 11:59 PM CST, and you missed your chance to adjust your pledge -- please message me! I can adjust your order manually on my end or unlock your order for you for a short moment, but only if it pertains to these specific pins. Thank you for understanding! 

I'm aware this is last minute, but the process of getting these produced is still very much ongoing and my manufacturer and I can only work so fast. We are finally just a few pins away from confirming all the artwork! You wouldn't believe how long it takes to get 63 enamel pin files perfected for production when they're this detailed with several colors -- My manufacturer and I have been going back several times on the same designs over and over the last few months just to get coloring and details right, and GOSH! I've learned so much about enamel pins in this short amount of time, and I'm so excited because we're almost done! Samples will be made soon and then production will start! Everything is still on schedule!

NOTE: As stated on the Kickstarter, please know that real-life pin coloring will and can vary slightly from the mock-ups due to manufacturing limitations and computer monitor limitations.

Shipping info:

Some folks have reached out about Backerkit double-charging shipping with add-ons. The reasoning behind this: Backerkit suggested I do this to make sure folks who didn't pay to ship would pay for shipping. This is also to ensure any additional packaging/shipping costs brought on in the add-on section are covered. There were no options available to help me adjust these costs according to what folks already ordered/paid for (I did ask), so I apologize for this inconvenience especially if you're outside of the States trying to order just 1 or 2 additional items. I hope this makes sense.

Due to how Backerkit works, if you pay with a credit card to upgrade your pledge and/or get extra goodies, you will be charged around October 1st which is closer to the shipping time. If you pay with Paypal you will be charged upfront. Either way works. Your choice!

Just in case the survey is confusing: 

• Everyone who backed this project can get additional Mushroom Trove Enamel Pins by the pair, more stickers, plus more in the add-on section of the survey!  
• You can edit your survey until it is locked on July 22nd.
• You can also upgrade your pledge level! 

For example: If you pledged for no reward up to $18 for "1 Pair!" you can order additional pins by the pair in the add-on section, but you can also upgrade your pledge level to "2 Pairs!" or higher if you're wanting to bring home some individual pins, too. So, how do we upgrade?--

• The "Switch your Pledge Level" button is located on the first page of the survey!

Please note: Upgrading your already 2 Pair!+ pledge to get additional pairs versus getting more pairs in the add-on section will yield similar results; The additional costs will remain the same, so no worries about which path you choose!
