Batch 2 ETA - Update your addresses!

Hi folks! 

I have the fixed pins and they look SCRUMPTIOUSLY perfect!

Shipment will begin even sooner than anticipated!

Early to mid-March! (So right before we swing into spring!)

I'm sorting them now and will be working on replacing some damaged backing cards as well for the remainder of this month. If you're part of batch 1 and want some backing card replacements, feel free to let me know via messaging here.

Currently, I'm still recovering from surgery and have had to deal with very limited movements, especially in my arms, so I'll be working only as fast as I can! (I'm doing well! <3)

I'll post one more update with the address-locking warning, so make sure to update your addresses while you can! You'll have 48 hours after the next update.

DELAYED! Addresses locking for batch 1 in 48 hours! + more!

Hi folks!

Thank you so incredibly much for your patience. I finally received the last of the pins yesterday afternoon! 

All 63 pin designs are sorted, and 57 designs are ready to ship. 

I will be shipping in 2 batches.

 Batch 1  

•  Addresses will be locked in 48 hours!  
•  This includes the 57 designs that are ready to ship and you will receive an email with the address-locking notification soon. 
•  They will be shipped out after Christmas during the last week of December, close to New Year's. I will begin packaging them up next week once addresses lock, so they'll be ready to ship out in that time frame. I'm choosing this time because some folks may be away for the holidays, and pushing them to ship during the peak mailing season might be a bad idea since they will most likely arrive after Christmas anyway. This way orders will arrive in early January instead. Please adjust addresses accordingly. 
•  If you don't know how to adjust your address, you may find instructions here. You are welcome to message me if it's confusing, or if you are too late, and I will adjust it manually from my end.

Batch 2 

Consists of orders that include the following designs:

•  Black Trumpet - Large
•  Shaggy Inkcap - Large 
•  Destroying Angel - Small 
•  Bleeding Tooth - Small, Large
•  Verdigris Toadstool - Small 

Batch 2 will be shipped out in the Spring of 2024, but I will update if it is sooner.

Extra goodies for Batch 2:

All folks who ordered pins in Batch 2 will receive a free Error/Faulty pin of the same design for free. For example, if you ordered a Black Trumpet large pin, you will receive the pin you ordered along with a bonus Error Black Trumpet large pin. Thank you so incredibly much again for your patience.

Backing card update: Most backing cards are not going to arrive in perfect condition. Many were damaged during the extra-long transit process even though all boxes were marked fragile. This has definitely been a learning experience, and since you are not technically paying for a backing card, I have sorted all pins according to the quality of the pins, and not the backing cards.

If damaged backing cards are bothersome, because you are a collector who will not be removing the pins from the backing cards, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to mail you any number of perfect-condition backing cards and/or protective closure bags equivalent to your order in the mail when I ship out batch 2. I won't have any extra cards or bags until I receive the newly remade pins.

ps. I'm never using Fedex again, y'all. I sat on edge every day waiting for a month and a half for them to arrive after paying for their express services. When I called they would continuously tell me, it'll ship "tomorrow," and now I probably know too intimately about how to navigate their customer service haha.

Detailed pin notes for y'all who love pins:

• Destroying Angel, Verdigris Toadstool, and Bleeding Tooth pins had consistent quality issues with the metal. Bubbling/Blistering on metal can be a normal flaw in pins, but I think they are too consistent and dense in the same areas for these designs. These pins are being remade. 
• Shaggy Inkcap and Black Trumpet had errors in their designs. Areas that were supposed to be cut out were filled with white instead due to miscommunications during the process. These areas are circled in red. Both designs will also have some color adjustments to match the original artwork. I have circled the areas that will be adjusted in green. The Black Trumpet will have the areas in green darkened, and the Shaggy Inkcap will have the areas in green lightened. These issues are being fixed and remade.

This whole process has been a wild experience. I'll be sharing some lessons learned in the final update. :)

Hi lovelies!

I'd like to officially start shipping them out in the 4th week of November and get them all sent out within a 3-week window. This means the last of the orders will be sent out in the first half of December. 

So far, I have received 7 out of 17 boxes! I'm not quite sure why there's a delay on the rest of the pins, but I have contacted the shipper several times. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the rest will arrive early next week! Once I receive all 17 boxes, I will make an announcement when your addresses will officially lock with a 48-hour reminder and then again at 24 hours.

Happy Halloween! Pins are arriving soon!

Hi all!

It's been a big, busy month, but woo hoo! We made it to Halloween! I hope y'all are well and excited! 

I'll be receiving all the mushroom pins in the mail this week! The current ETA is this Friday, but I will tentatively plan that they could also arrive on Monday. 

Here's the plan: 

• I'm going to try my best to sort through them as quickly as I can with a few pals! 
• There will be an official announcement on here when shipping will start! Shipping will begin within the month of November as promised, so consider updating your address as soon as you can if needed.
• I will focus on shipping international orders first since those take the longest to arrive as I'd love for y'all to receive them before the holidays. 

I just shipped over 400 orders within the last month for my little online store, so you know I'm already warmed up to ship another 600+ orders to y'all! Yay! I'm so excited to wrap up this project, get you your mushroom goodies, and enjoy some drawing time this winter. <3

Cards were charged on Backerkit + Tiny production status

Hi all! 

I was notified by my BackerKit schedule to charge cards and did so. I apologize if no one saw the previous updates, but for those who bought extras on BackerKit via credit card, you were not immediately charged after completing your survey. 

According to Stripe's stringent rules, we aren't supposed to charge credit cards until closer to shipping time. This is my first time using it, and so I assumed when I got the notification to charge cards, that you also got emails that you were being charged soon.  This might have been an oversight and if you didn't get any email notifications prior to the charge, then I'm very sorry and know now in the future to post an update before hitting the charge button. You are very welcome to message me if you have any problems at all and I am happy to help however I can.

As for pins, they are still in production. All designs, including those that had errors, have been fixed and confirmed. I will post an update later this month to let y'all know how it's going!
